A great advice from Sheikh Ibn al-Qayyim:

“A friend will not share your efforts and someone who loves you cannot take away your physical pain and a confidant will not stay up the night on your behalf, so take care of yourself, protect it, take care of it (yourself).

Don’t give more value to what happens in life than it really has, be sure that if you break, no one will heal you except yourself, and if you are defeated, no one will give you victory except your determination.

Your ability to get up again and carry on is your responsibility.

Do not look at your worth in the eyes of others; look at your worth from your consciousness. If your consciousness has peace, you will rise high and if you really know yourself, then what is said about you will not harm you.

Carry not the cares of life, for this is for Allah, and carry not the cares of sustenance, for this is from Allah, and carry not the fear of the future, for it is in the hands of Allah.

Bear but one thing: how thou pleasest Allah.
For if you satisfy Him, He will satisfy you, fulfil you, and enrich you. Do not weep over a life that has made your heart weep, only say, “Ya Allah, compensate me with good in this life and the next.”

Sadness disappears with prostration and joy comes with sincere supplication.
Allah does not forget the good you do, nor does He forget the good you have done to others and the pain you have taken from others.

He will not forget the eye that wanted to cry but you made it laugh.

Live your life with this principle: Be good even if you do not receive good.

Not because of others, but because Allah loves those who do good.”

Allahu Akbar ❤❗
