  1. Is it permissible to enter into a relationship with a Jinn or seek contact with them?

Scholars differ on the question of whether it is permissible to seek contact or establish a relationship with the Jinn, whether this is permitted (mubah مُباح) or prohibited (haram حرام).

There are no traditions of the Prophet , that he did this or spoke about it, nor traditions of his companions (Sahaba) or the succeeding generation (Tabiin).

The majority of scholars see this contacting the Jinn, or using him for certain purposes, as forbidden.
The Jinn is known for his lies and brings discord (fitnah) between people through his speech or whispers (waswasa). Moreover, the Salaf did not do this either, thus it is forbidden. And Allah knows best.

Allah says:
2:102 {And they followed that which the devils under the dominion of Sulaiman (the people) revealed. It was not Sulaiman who disbelieved, but it was the devils, instructing men in sorcery and in what had been sent down on the (two) angelic men) in Babylon, Harut and Marut. And they (both) instructed no one (in sorcery) without saying, “We are but a temptation; so do not disbelieve (therefore).” And so they learnt from them (both) the (magic) means whereby one causes discord between spouses. But they cannot harm anyone with it except with Allah’s permission. And they learnt that which is harmful to them and not beneficial. And they knew that whoever bought it would have no share in the Hereafter. Verily, how bad is that for which they sold their souls, if only they knew! }}

The Jinn usually try to create problems and discord between people.
In this regard, I would like to relate an experience that happened to my patients.
Some time ago, a couple came to me for me to read Qur’an about them as they were both possessed by Jinn.
The Jinn spoke through the tongue of the possessed that the mother-in-law had made Sihr for them by using a bone and giving them something to eat. He also said that the Sihr with the bone was placed in the grave of the deceased mother-in-law in Bosnia.
I did not believe him and told the couple not to believe him either, as this is just a big lie.
After a month, the brother contacted me and sent me a photo of a grave and said that he had found this conscious bone. I asked him about the exact location of the sihr, about this bone. He pointed to it and I told him, “Fear Allah, this bone is a bone from the skeleton of your deceased mother-in-law!”.
So, based on this lie, they went to the deceased mother-in-law to disturb her grave and even opened her grave. After this incident, the sister concerned left her husband.
This is just one example of many, if you believe what the Jinn tells you. May Allah guide us all!

Of the Jinn, as with man, there are Muslims and Kuffar, hypocrites and wrong-doers, and ignorant.

Allah says:
6:112 {{ And thus have We appointed enemies for every prophet: the satans of men and of the Jinn, some of whom enter into others splendid words in deceit, and if thy Lord had willed, they would not have done it; so leave them (standing) with what lies they devise -, }}

From this verse we can see that the bad disbelieving Jinn are liars and they have only one aim – to make you Shirk!

There are people who contact the Jinn and bring forth as an argument that Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام also did so.
The story of Prophet Sulayman is well known and is also written in the Qur’an. With Allah’s permission, he got the miracle of getting power over the Jinn from Allah, among other things.

Allah says:
27:17 {{ And gathered together for Sulaiman were his hosts – among the Jinn, men and birds – and so they were arranged in ranks. }}
We do not wish to delve deeper into the story of Sulayman عليه السلام now, but merely refute the above argument.
The Jinn worked for Sulayman عليه السلام and conveyed information to him. That was the miracle which was special for Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام and no one received after him.
The problem is that these people do not understand the Qur’anic and Sunnah texts, interpret them themselves and do not ask the scholars first.

Allah says:
16:43 {{ So ask the people of exhortation if you do not know (something). }}

Unfortunately, some people speak out of their own heads, statements that cannot be found in Islamic sources, others simply do not want to listen and others have no patience
